Lightweight aspen core is inherently strong and durable, and it produces a smooth, natural flex. Triaxial braiding wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the wood core providing torsional stiffness, responsive turning and high sensitivity. Cap construction keeps skis light and offers smooth turn initiation. JIB Rocker features elevated tips and tails and zero camber underfoot. Directional taper features a moderately wider tip than tail to maximize performance when skiing forward. Beefy 3.5mm steel edges withstand big impacts and bite into boilerplate ice with ease. Metal tip plates and tail rivets withstand hard landings and big impacts on the mountain. K2 recommends using the Press skis for 60% park and 40% all mountain.
