In addition to flexing progressively, the Firearrow F4 boots feature a block in the spine of the boot that can adjust the level of rebound and the stiffness of the progression. Dual density plastic maximizes ease of entry regardless of temperature even if you have high insteps, getting your foot in the boot is hassle free. As compared to men's liners, women specific liners feature extra padding in the tongues, more insulation throughout and contoured top edges designed to fit women's calves. Liners snugly wrap the feet in cushioning foam and warm fleece lining closed cell foam against the shell enhances warmth. Liners provide a personalized fit when custom molded. Top buckles make it easy to engage and close the top portion of the boot a sliding cam shifts the point of leverage while closing the buckle, reducing effort. Middle buckles clamp down on feet to keep heels securely seated and increase comfort in forefeet. 35mm cuff strap acts as a fourth buckle, allowing you to set the firmness around the upper ankle to favor comfort or performance.
